Winnie The Pooh And The Honey Tree (1966)

Photo Still (8 X 10 Inches)
£135.00

Original Walt Disney b&w photo still #17-A-26C.

Here, Pooh has come up with a "clever" plan to get some honey. He’s disguised himself as a little black rain cloud by rolling in mud and floating up to a bee tree using a blue balloon. This shot catches him mid-air, looking a bit concerned as a suspicious bee investigates his disguise. It’s a perfect example of Pooh’s endless optimism and his one-track mind when it comes to a "smackerel" of honey.

This was the very first time Disney brought A.A. Milne’s beloved "silly old bear" to the screen. It introduced a unique, storybook art style where the characters actually interact with the text and page lines of the book. It’s the film that launched Pooh into global superstardom and established the gentle, cozy vibe that defined childhood for generations.
