Very rare original UK cinema quad movie poster for one of the most famous and best-loved films ever made, 'Gone with the Wind'. The film was first released in US movie theatres in December 1939, and in UK cinemas in April 1940. In the following few years it was subsequently re-released a couple of times, but in 1954 the movie's aspect ratio was altered by the MGM studio, and it was released for the first time in a widescreen format. This poster is from that 1954/55 UK release. Obviously, any posters from the early releases are extremely rare and highly sought-after.
