Director Martin Scorsese's landmark motion picture tells the story of a taxi driver who's chronically alone and develops a twisted obsession to save a young prostitute, with a penchant toward hard-core violence to achieve his ambitions. Robert DeNiro turned in an incredible performance as Travis Bickel in a frightening, Oscar-nominated performance. Artwork for this poster was done by Guy Peellaert. Rarely do these large format posters show up. Printed on heavy paper stock. Rare since they were primarily used for major motion pictures only and designed to be used outside the theatre on an easel.
