Breakfast At Tiffany's (1965R)

Audrey Hepburn called herself an introvert, and said that playing the extrovert Holly Golightly was the hardest thing she ever did. The strain never shows. Fiercely independent and gloriously eccentric, Holly caught the shifting social mood of early 1960s New York and helped make the little black dress a permanent fixture of the wardrobe.

This Half Sheet comes from the 1965 re-release, issued to capitalise on her success in My Fair Lady, which is why the top of the poster hails her as the "Fairest Lady of All". The illustration has the elegant high-fashion style of Robert McGinnis. Unfolded examples from the 1960s are rare, and this one has survived intact.
