Directed by George Roy Hill, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid became one of the defining films of late-1960s American cinema and helped establish Robert Redford as a major international star. The film won four Academy Awards, including Best Original Screenplay and Best Cinematography, while Burt Bacharach’s music and “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head” became inseparable from the film. A wonderful original poster for one of cinema’s great screen partnerships.
