The Godfather (1972)
Photo Still (8 X 10 Inches)
£650.00
An original 1972 Paramount Pictures British Black and White Publicity Still, unframed.
Marlon Brando's Don Vito Corleone stands over Al Pacino's Michael in the Don's office, the old power and the new in a single frame.
Paramount wanted a bigger name for Michael. Coppola held out for an unknown stage actor from New York, and the gamble gave cinema one of its great transformations. Father and son together are among the most sought-after images from the film.
