Judy Garland brings to life Dorothy Gale, the child in all of us, who yearns to escape to a perfect place over the rainbow. Along her way to the magical land of Oz, Dorothy encounters a host of unforgettable characters: the clever Scarecrow, the sentimental Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, witches both good and bad, and the wonderful Wizard of Oz. After almost a decade, Heritage has the pleasure to once again bring to auction an original half sheet from one of cinema's most beloved productions. It's pure visual candy, with charming portraits of all the leading characters, and inset of Dorothy, Tin Man, and Scarecrow on the Yellow Brick Road, as well as an image of Dorothy in Oz with Glinda the Good Witch. An absolute collector's dream, the half sheet will turn heads as a cornerstone of any fine collection. Display-ready, touchup has been applied to the folds and color enhancement has been applied liberally within the image due to some sun fading.
