This original still from Goldfinger captures one of the most famous exchanges in Bond history. Sean Connery’s Bond, strapped to the table at Auric Enterprises and moments from the laser’s deadly beam, looks up coolly and asks, “Who are you?” She replies with total composure: “My name is Pussy Galore.” Bond pauses, takes her in, and delivers the immortal line — “I must be dreaming.”

The still freezes that perfect balance of danger, glamour and razor-sharp wit that defined the Bond formula. Goldfinger is widely regarded as the film that turned 007 into a global icon, setting the template for every Bond that followed.
