Top Gun (1986)
Photo Still (8 X 10 Inches)
£165.00
An original 1986 Paramount Pictures Black and White Publicity Still #TG-5119-28, unframed.
Tom Cruise as Maverick and Kelly McGillis as Charlie, the flight instructor who falls for her most reckless student.
The love scene set to "Take My Breath Away" was added after filming had finished, when test audiences wanted more romance. McGillis had already dyed her hair dark for her next role, which is why the scene is shot in deep blue silhouette. The song went on to win the Oscar.
