Casino Royale (2006)
Daniel Craig's first outing as 007 was the Bond reboot nobody expected to work. Announced to tabloid jeers of "James Blonde", Craig went on to deliver a tough, bruised, brilliant Bond that critics hailed as the best since Connery, in a faithful adaptation of Ian Fleming's very first novel. It became the highest-grossing Bond film of its time and launched a whole new era for the series.
This "Solange" design features Caterina Murino as Solange, the glamorous wife of villain Alex Dimitrios, looking back over her shoulder in a stunning red lace-up gown while Craig stands behind her in his open-collared dinner suit, silenced pistol at his side. Fans will remember her scenes in the Bahamas, where Bond wins her husband's Aston Martin DB5 in a game of poker, a lovely nod back to Goldfinger and the car that made Bond famous. A companion to the "Vesper" design, this style puts the spotlight on one of the film's most memorable Bond girls. Printed for the original UK release and double-sided for lit cinema displays, it's a striking piece of modern Bond history.
